POWERING
impactful
NETWORKS
We connect like-minded partners through strategic networks, coordinate action, and compound impact across the climate movement in so-called Canada.
OUR SOLUTION
Network infrastructure
is a force multiplier.
Common Current builds the network infrastructure that helps environmental organizations, climate leaders, frontline communities, and allied partners focus campaign strategy, share intelligence and capacity, and move together. Organizations keep their mission and independence. What changes is that they stop working alone. Impact is compounded by working within a network.
THE CHALLENGE
Opponents are unified, while
the movement works in silos.
Environmental organizations, climate leaders, and frontline communities often share the same goals and face the same challenges. Without the infrastructure to strategically focus campaign efforts, collective power is untapped, and opponents easily push back one voice at a time.
WHAT WE DO
Common Current is compounding impact by:
BUILDING NETWORKS
Connecting organizations around shared goals, strategic opportunities, and messaging.
SHARING INTELLIGENCE
Sharing knowledge, surfacing opportunities, and connecting insights across partners.
ALIGNING STRATEGY
Focusing limited capacity on what will be most impactful, spotting overlap, multiplying the effect.
BUILDING MOVEMENT INFRASTRUCTURE
Building the systems and support structures that help networks endure and grow.
OUR TEAM
Common Current is guided by an experienced Board of Directors and led day-to-day by a full-time Managing Director.
